I shot, edited and co-directed this short documentary that looks at how some in the fishing industry are working side by side with the scientific community to better understand the oceans and the path to sustainability.

Often the fishing industry can be seen as antagonistic to ocean research and efforts to maintain the ocean’s health. But there are many within the fishing industry who understand the importance of these efforts and have a rich history of collaboration with scientists and working to be good stewards of the seas.
